North Shore Campground on Lake Lac Vieux Desert is a great spot for your camping vacation. All sites are wooded and are near the lake with 30 amp or 50 amp electric service. Nice sand bottomed swimming area by the dock that is shallow for the children. There is lawn furniture for relaxing and enjoying the beautiful scenery. Our modern shower house offers nice hot showers after a day on the lake.
Lake Lac Vieux Desert offers some of the finest fishing in the area. Fish for Musky, Walleye, or catch a bunch of panfish for an excellent dinner. The long modern dock has 60 boat slips for rent so bring your boat or fish from the dock. Lac Vieux Desert is a border lake so you can use a Michigan or a Wisconsin fishing license. We have a boat ramp on site and a fish cleaning house for taking care of your catch.

The three-bedroom cabin is air-conditioned and has a complete kitchen with full size appliances, a coffee maker, toaster, and a microwave. One bedroom has a queen-size bed and the other two bedrooms have a double bed in each room. The bathroom has a shower. Linens, towels and paper products are furnished for our guests. There is a deck on the front of the cabin, a picnic table, and a gas grill for your outdoor cooking. There is wireless internet access in the cabin. Pets are welcome. |

The North Shore Campground is close to the Ottawa National Forest and the Sylvania Wilderness Natural Area with hundreds of acres of public land for watching wildlife, canoeing, and hiking.
You might like to visit Bond Falls, one of the most outstanding falls in the Upper Peninsula, just a few miles north of the North Shore Campground or investigate the mysterious Paulding Light. . . . Many have ideas what it is, but who knows?
There are restaurants, unique shops, and golfing in Land O’ Lakes and a casino and ATV rentals in Watersmeet.
